🔧 Technical Advice for Installation

To achieve the perfect stone carpet flooring effect, we recommend laying the Bardiglio gray gravel over a properly prepared draining base. Use geotextile fabric and edging profiles to maintain shape and structure.

For dry installation (without resin), the average consumption for 3/6 or 5/8 mm grain size is 25–30 kg/m² with a thickness of 3–4 cm.

If you prefer a monolithic decorative surface using epoxy or polyurethane resin, follow these basic steps:

• Marble gravel: grain size 2–4 mm, 3–6 mm, or 5–8 mm
• Binder: epoxy or polyurethane resin + hardener
• Primer: (optional) epoxy or polyurethane primer
• Protective finish: transparent varnish or sealer

🔹 Consumption per 1 m²:

• 6–8 mm (indoors): 14–16 kg gravel + 0.8–1.0 kg resin
• 8–10 mm (outdoors, terraces): 16–18 kg gravel + 1.0–1.2 kg resin
• 12–15 mm (driveways): 22–25 kg gravel + ~1.5 kg resin

1. Substrate preparation: concrete, screed or old tiles. The surface must be dry and solid (humidity ≤ 4%)
2. Priming: 0.2–0.3 kg/m². If needed, apply in two coats
3. Mixing: gravel + resin blend. Working time: 30–40 minutes
4. Application: trowel on guides, thickness 6–15 mm. Compact and level using a metal trowel
5. Curing: walkable after 24 hours, fully cured in 5–7 days
6. Finishing (optional): apply protective sealer for better dirt and moisture resistance
